1. Apologies

2. Minutes of the meeting held on 22nd April 2009 were read and approved. There was one amendment: Los Balcones concert date should be 31st October 2009 and not 30th.

3. Matters Arising
None.

4. Treasurer's Report
Steve had circulated the Committee with his report. Figures as under:

5. Update on Concerts for Autumn 2009

3rd October San Roque Church, Torrevieja (date confirmed but Mary not yet visited)
24th October Dolores Church approx. 7.45 p.m. start
31st October Los Balcones Church with TBH
29th November San Fulgencio (provisional)
9th December To fill: choice of two venues – Mary to report back
13th December La Zenia Church (proposed)
16th December Asturias with Just Brass

6. Update on Crescendo Website
Agreed Steve had done an excellent job. AGM details, Committee notes, etc. would be added to the website, but it was agreed to continue to post Committee Minutes on the noticeboard as well.

7. Crescendo Birthday Party 26th September 2009
Phyl would check with TJs at Benimar for availability for up to 80 people, and report back. The cost for members would be met from Choir funds but guests to pay for their own.

8. Update on Crescendo Day Out
Still awaiting further news.

9. Update on End of Season Menu del Dia, 24th June
Quesada Country Club, 1.00 p.m. for 1.30 p.m. Final numbers not yet known.

10. PR Report
Margot was disappointed at the recent coverage we had received in the local press, despite having continued to send in copy and photos for publication.

11. Social Report
Already covered.

12. Friends of the Choir Report
Agreed to leave matter till September and possibly extend them an invitation to the birthday party.

13. AOB
Margot wished to record her concern that some ladies were swopping their new jackets around.
