1. Apologies

2. Minutes of the meeting held on 14th January 2008 were read and approved, with the following amendments:-
(a) Item 3(c) Concert for RAFA 15th March: now 22nd March
(b) Los Montesinos Fiesta 11th July – we have withdrawn due to the event impinging on our holiday period.
3. Matters Arising
(a) Update on Torrevieja Church concert, 10th May 2009
Choir to be ready from 20:30 hrs. to go into church. Mary will contact authorities to find out start time of Mass. This is to enable Steve/Lawrence to take in the keyboard etc.
(b) Addition to concert list see point 5:

Thanks were expressed to Mary for all her hard work in organising the Los Montesinos concert.
Thanks were also expressed to Steve for his handling of the choir discipline in an ever changing situation backstage at Los Montesinos
6. Suggestions for Concerts in Autumn
7. New Costumes
The Chairman expressed his thanks to Margot for the fine work she has done in relation to the ladies' new jackets. Margot expressed concern at the poor handling by one or two choir members of the material.
8. Crescendo Website
Keith will not get expenses for handing over the website to Steve. Only the annual expenses will be incurred.
9. Social Report
Lawrence and Chas. have carried out an initial recce. to Totana for a choir day out. A beautiful church to sing in together with a very large restaurant as part of the complex and then calling at the Castle of Light on the way home. Chas to make initial contact with the authorities in Totana.
10. PR Report
Margot reported that everything was being kept up to date although only a limited amount was actually being published.
11. AOB
(a) It has been suggested that a Musical Social evening be organised for individuals to perform to the choir and friends. Suggested a Thursday or Friday evening June 18th or 19th
(b) Friends of the Choir: This is now to be handled by Lawrence and Steve
In future agendas Friends of the Choir Report to be added.
